TAT Help me convince a friend that....

    A friend of mine got his tragus pierced about 3 months ago and its constantly getting keyloids (sp) i think he needs to take it out and let it heal but he says its fine.. looks like shit and hasnt healed yet can i :slap: him yet or is this normal for that area? any health risks or bad scaring or anything to scare him?

    are you certain they're keloids? the way i understand it, if they come and go they're more likely hypertrophic scars. i've heard great things about tea bags for those.

    soak the bag in warm water and then hold the tea bag on the scar until it's cold. keep doing that for a week or so, or until it goes away.

    yes I am certain they are keloids.. well atleast im certain thats what he says they are.. he keeps popping them and they keep coming back.. very gross.. will tea-bagging him .. i mean him putting the teabags on help if they are those scars or keloids??? thanks all help is much appreciated so far

    sounds more like hypertrophic scarring to me. chamomile tea-bags on them should clear them up fine.
