There seems to be so many and everyone says one or the other. I've been looking at the Huey and Spider2 pro.

Is there one of the other you would get? Or is there something better I haven't heard about yet. Thanks for any help.

Yeah the huey pro? i was seconds away from buying that damn thing at apple few days ago. Seems to have the best reviews and not overly expensive.

i have the huey pro & really like it.

i like that it's branded by pantone, which i've always thought to be a pretty impressive company.

I think it's what Im going to get either way. You're pretty happy with it? I'm mainly trying to get it to match up my dual monitors best as possible. Also editing is a huge things for me and need something very reliable.

:hsugh: my huey pro was 80 shipped from amazon. by the time we shipped one around, it wouldn't be worth it. plus, according to the software, you should recalibrate your monitor every 2 weeks, and it has a feature where it can adjust your calibration on the fly based on the ambient light in the room. :o

edit - but i have used mine to calibrate my desktop, my g/f's desktop, my macbook, and my gateway tablet :mamoru:

yep. the ambient light gizmo is really slick.

i've calibrated all 4 of my computers, but turned off the reminder on all but my main home PC ... i still calibrate every 14 days when it pops up

I like my EyeOne. I've worked w/ the older Huey (dunno the differences between it and the Pro) and i didn't like it at all compared to the EyeOne.

huey is fine & cheap. you can go better if you want printer calibration or something fancy, but otherwise works great.
