Help me choose a new monitor to buy

Im looking to get a new monitor because Im feeling limited on my 19" 1280x1024. I was thinking of upgrading to a 22" but I dont know which one to get. My max budget is 300, but would like to spend only $250.

I would love a 24" but I dont think I can justify it. Im eying the Dell Refurb section and currently they have a Dell 22" for $239, but its a lowend one, from what my friend tells me.

"help me OTAP, you're my only hope :mamoru:, ok so what do i press?..."

That has a MIR which I dont really like. Looks like some people had problems with bleeding and a horizontal line through the middle. :hs: I love samsung though. Have any info on it?

Yeah don't buy a cheapo monitor :o The difference between the 2407WFP and the cheap Dell 24" is drastic.

Beware that 22" monitors usually have the same resolution as 20" monitors.

    I just got a 24" Samsung 245B :naughty:

Monitors are the things you don't want to skimp on. A good monitor will last you for several computers. We have Samsung/Dell (rebadged samsung) at work that are all great. I've got a set of 2400HD Gateways at home though and so far I've been pleased with them. Only got them because I found a great deal compared to the Samsung. But yeah get a good monitor, don't buy something cheap - you'll regret it down the road.
