    I was gonna get that Benchmade, but went with the Griptilian instead because of the 154CM blade as opposed to the 440.

    You can get one with serrations.

    You might want to look at a Spyderco Endura or Police, I believe they are both S30V

    In most normal use a 440C blade that's heat treated properly will work just as good as the 154CM. I have a 440 and a S30V Griptilian and they both hold an edge well.

    My 440 Kershaw blade does not hold an edge for a very long time. :o

    Which grade of 440 is it tho? I know lots of lower end knives use 440A which isn't that great.

    If a knife just says its 440 then it's usually always A, if it was 440C they would want to let people know. I'll never own another 420 or 440A knife, my kershaw sucks.

    I'm looking at getting a knife this week too. Probably going to go with the Benchmade Griptilian Tanto. Anyone have any thought on this guy?
