    k. I am having some troubles getting my computer to boot. First off here are the system specs @ the moment.

    AMD barton 2600+
    Abit KD7 mobo
    2 GB PC2700 ddrram
    Radeon 9700 pro
    Adaptec 3200S SCSI raid card
    (3) 9.1 GB Quantum 10K 2 SCSI drives

I can only get the monitor to turn on when I remove the SCSI card, otherwise i get nothing. The SCSI card is designed for 64 bit PCI slots, but i am pretty sure it can run in 32 bit pci slots 2. could that be the problem? or anyother ideas?

If this is a new build (at least motherboard and scsi card combo) try updating the firmware to Version 3607 or later...

The question now becomes how do you install the update when the computer does not boot....
