A&P HELP lighten picutre

    help me please. my mom fucked with all the setting on my camera and all my pictures are so god damn dark.

    any tutorials on how to lighten one up. thier practically black.

    Sounds like you are in shutter priority and she has the thing set at like 1/2000th of a second, OR she turned the exposure all the way down.. It would probably help if we knew the make/model of the camera.

    its a nikon d-80, no clue what lense or settings she was using.

    this is not the photo, but an example of how dark it is

    are there any ways i can save it. the couple people this happened with are really important to me.

    well, if you upload the pics we can correct the exposure (hopefully), but what I sad the first time is almost surely the case. Do you still have the manual? It will tell you how to fix your exposure settings.

    but the iso is really high

    the photo is already clearly grainy before ive done anything to it

    now im just concern with how to fix the photo.

    its with a person i will likey never see again and they mean alot to me and i need this picture to be at least printable at a 4x6

    ok. thanks for the help. im goign to buy her a nice canon sd1100 IS so she wont fuck my nice one up. that and its easy for her to understand to use the fucking flash


    is that the point and shoot you'd reccomend??

    but do you know of a good tutorial on how to lighten my pic up. every method ive been taught or done has failed. am i fucked -and there is no way to save it?

    I'd give her the 850, just because it's foolproof, with the 1100 you can go into manual modes and stuff.

    That pic is pretty fracked... there will be no way to get rid of all the noise...

    there is nothing, even to make it look ok. i dont need a huge pic or anything just a small 3x5, 4x6... if its a lil grainly im fine with it, just everything ive tired has failed
