I just built a new computer and am having issues installing XP Pro.

    comp is AMD 64 3200+ (939)
    MSI K8N Neo2
    WD Raptor sata drive

Im using a XP Pro upgrade disk.

My problem is that 1. when it asks me to press F6 to load sata drivers, it continues on even after I hit it. Later on it asks me to install the driveres which bypasses problem 1. Problem 2 is that after it has loaded all its files to begin installation, and says loading windows, I get an error message that says Session3 failed to initialize.

    What should I do?

MS has *great* telephone support for users of the upgrade versions, but you've gotta be careful.

Call this # and sometimes you get an american (good) and sometimes you get someone from india (not so good) (425) 635-3311. Make sure they create a case#, and then you'll get transfered to someone in america. then they will sit with you on the phone until you get it working.
