I want a AIM program/theme/anything that splits the groups into seperate, movable windows.

I've got 5 groups of about 80 people in each group on AIM, mainly due to work and school, and I hate having to scroll down to view everyone on my list.

Is there a way to make the groups go horizontal across so it takes up the whole screen rather than one slim window straight down?

    Am I making any sense?

    adium does this.

edit: wait do you mean like 5 separate buddy lists, bc no it wont do that.

but you can arrage which groups are on top and which order they go in.

i'd just do that, and then collapse/ expand the groups as necessary

Spend more time doing something else. You only get one life, use it wisely.

What aim client do you use? I use the "it's a dock" contact window on adium and it's fairly conservative with pixels. Heres an example of how mine looks

If you really have 150 people on all the time, you will be hard pressed to find a contact list with one column that will fit all your online contacts.

What res screen do you run?

edit: Ive got a black macbook as well, and theres no way you'll get more than 75 contacts onto one view.
