No shoes will make you feel comfortable while standing for 8-10 hours. Your feet are going to hurt regardless.

There are definately shoes you can get just for this, I don't know what kind but my brother spent a fortune on them, I'll ask him later.
I think there are also special mats you can get aswell.

He also took a class on how to stand properly :dunno:

My feet used to hurt when I was walking for 50+ hours a week at work for the first week or so, but then it went away. My asics feel good to me. :dunno:

They may look a little goofy, but I have been told they do the trick. I saw a lot of nurses/doctors wearing them at the hospital.

Yeah, my feet were really bad the first week. But they've continued to feel horrible which I think is because of the Sketchers. They're bulky, heavy and shit. Unfortunately, the closest retail place I can buy Asics is Alabama. :(

Do they have to be dress shoes? I used to wear Rockports when I had to walk around all day. They're light and more comfortable than most. But you have to replace them once every 6-8 months if you like your shoes to look nice all the time.

They're fine so long as they're black and don't stand out.

I could never wear them because I hate the brand and the style, but people always say that New Balance shoes are super-comfortable.
