Hey everyone. Unfortunately, it looks like my computer started to act up today. I don't know what happened, but now when I start up, I get a message saying 'explorer.exe needs to be restarted' or something, then my desktop closes and gets reloaded. My PC started up fine until today... I have know idea what the problem is. Anyone have any idea on what it is or how to track it down? A pic of the error message is below. Thanks.

I got to the error log and took a screenshot. I'm not sure how to interpret the error messages. Any ideas what they mean?

I got rid of one problem. I can't get rid of this problem:
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
    SONYPVM1

It's hard to find SONYPVM1.sys and .inf files on the web. I don't know what I need these drivers for, I don't have a sony USB drive or digital camera.

I'm trying to find out how to stop Windows from loading this Sony driver automatically at startup. I had no luck with msconfig or services.msc.

Anyone know how to stop my computer from trying to automatically load this Sony driver at startup in the first place?

Start out to get 'at least' these 2 spyware and 1 anti-virus programs. (get rid of any others you have) , basically when stuff all of a sudden goes wrong when starting up, and messing up your computer. And you know for sure that you didn't remove anything important, then its bound to be something you 'caught' while surfing the internet.

    Second possiblity

Basically lets say you have installed software from sony or lets say it installed itself without you wanting it, or it performed an incomplete uninstall it will become this non-existing incompatible thing that still wants its drivers to load but fails because without the real physical existance it wil not be recognized. By the way don't you mean sonypvu1.sys

    The sony file http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/software/t-download-sonypvu1sys-here-free-99999

Sony is rather stupid for not supporting their drivers on the internet.

http://www.spychecker.com/download/download_hijackthis.html if all is too much, a quick statement, it seems its a 'known' problem in the spyware software industry. Although the sony file is safe, you have other stuff on your computer that is trying to initiate sony software that simply isn't there, it appears to be a trojan of some sort.
