    Hi,

I just got a new macbook to go along with my imac at my house. i was at the mac store and the guy showed me how i can connect both on the same network and with the click of a button screen share and drop and drag files from one computer to another. They were able to do it wirelessly with out creating a new network. For some reason i am un able to do this. Can anybody show me a website that walks me through this process? Thank you:hsd:

go into system preferences, then sharing

make sure screen sharing and file sharing are enabled.

you should be good to go. may require a restart.
