Help a DVD Burning n00b

    Alright guys, I need help. Please list youir step by step process for making an AVI or Mpeg movie playable in a standard DVD player. I have tried so much crap to no avail at this point it is very frustrating, so please help me out. thanks

    Nero have a program that lets you author DVDs... Honestly cannot remember what it is called though...

    There are tons of guides and info on dvdrhelp.com and forums.afterdawn.com.

    You can use any DVD builder program that will take the movie and convert it for you.

    Nero Vision or Vision Express, I think.

    They also have Recode, but it's more for ripping from DVD to HDD, I think.
