    I have a Plantronics/Labtec headset or whatever you wanna call it...and my microphone is a little low...anyway to fix this? :big grin:

    Low as in I have to put the mic right up to my mouth and then talk normally so people can hear it

    Assuming you're running Windows, there should be a mixer program somewhere in which you can turn the mic level up. Not sure where it would be on your system though, depends on the OS and soundcard I think, and I don't even use Windows :dunno:

    go to the systray (which is next to the clock), and double-click the speaker looking thing.
    It will bring up a window with a bunch of slider controls, one of which will be marked microphone.
