I just purchased the mac mini and trying to get some of the "must haves"

read through the must have thread and got some ideas but i need one thing.

Seems the best DVD ripper/burner is visuhub (or something to that effect) is pretty hard to find.

Do you all have any suggestions?

I'm on Leopard with an intel processor

    thanks in advance:h5:

    handbrake will convert...

if you're looking for free burning software, i like "burn"
if you want to get a bloated piece of software that's everyone's favorite, get "toast"

Mac the Ripper just rips the Video_TS folder from the DVD to your hard drive. Handbrake is a video converter and has all the popular formats as "presets". But do some research because these presets aren't 100% (the appleTV preset sucks)

    thx.

i mainly want it to rip them and put them on my iPod.

How much of a pain is it to get the Mac the Ripper? From reading, it seems to be difficult as of late...
