Give it more than 12 minutes. :hs: This forum is not near as fast as the main one.

Both look pretty good. HP has been getting pretty good press on their laptops as of late. I know that Fujitsu got good reviews on their Tablet PC's, and I have heard that they are pretty good in the laptop portion as well.

It looks like the major differences are: HP has a better bus speed (533 vs 800), but depending on the applications running, don't know if you will see a huge a difference. Both are expandable to 1GB (I checked Fujitsu's site, that 768 is a typo on Pricegrabber), so that could help performance on both to upgrade. It looks as if the HP is last year's model, as I can't find it on their website (unless I overlooked it).
The screen and resolution look to be better on the Fujitsu, and resolution and looks is huge part for me.

If it were me, I would probably vote Fujitsu.

friend has both a fujitsu and a hp... wouldn't buy either again.

the fujitsu just is not that impressive. The screen is nice -- but that's it. Speed for the money just isn't great.

the hp has been a pile of crap. battery life just gets worse and worse.

    :werd:

    those are both heavy piles.

I'de even take a dell over those :noes: You can get a nice thinkpad for that price though. Keep looking around nd make sure you read as many reviews as you can.

If you're not opposed to carrying something that some people (non computer people) have never heard of, check out the ASUS notebooks.
