Helio operates on the Sprint network so ask a Sprint customer regarding the service.

I tried helio. it fucking sucked. The phone was nice, but after getting sent 2 hot handsets and a cold handset, it simply never worked for making/receiving calls. I had sprint prior, and continue on sprint today, so the network is fine. Their customer service is the WORST. Even worse than Sprint! (which is saying a lot). Took me 6 months almost to get a refund issued. And only got it after a FCC complaint.
