That's because attracting a guy is simple. Guys want a chick who's cute, fun and loyal. Period. No strategy or insight needed.

    Define "symp."

BBing is not important. I've been a weightlifter for years and chicks barely look at me. I see ugly out of shape douches all the time with hot babes. BBing is not important.

It's not a must, but being in good shape will absolutely help you.

    I couldn't disagree more.

I don't do "bodybuilding", but I do lift regularly and I have put on muscle mass (with some fat as well unfortunately).

A lot of it has to do with your body type. A woman's primary physical attraction to a man is based on his shoulder-to-waist ratio. If your ratio is already where it needs to be, then putting on muscle isn't necessarily going to make you much more physically attractive.

But if you don't have very broad shoulders like me, and you put on muscle mass in that area, it makes a big difference. I can tell you this from personal experience.

Before I started lifting weights, I wasn't eating enough food, and I was eating mostly junk food. I'm convinced that my body now produces more testosterone because of my changes in diet and also my strength training.

The main challenge I see with lifting weights is continuing to increase your intensity level and the weights you lift. Its really easy to get in a rut where you do the same exact workout each week, and you don't progress because you aren't forcing your body to adapt.

Also, I've gotten a big confidence boost from lifting because I was always skinny as a young man, then after that I got fat.

I've seen your pictures, and imo none of your issues are physical.

I'm not fat, but I could argue that, being an extreme ectomorph, when I'm wearing a shirt it doesn't really look like I've ever seen the inside of a gym. Eh, whatever. If fat guys can pull babes then I should be able to, too, right?

I was under the impression that you had gained mass through lifting and eating.

So you've done bodybuilding, but you haven't put on size? Is that correct?

Ok, regarding the part in pook's book where he says he used ANTHONY ELLIS's training program-

I was a bodybuilder for 2 years, i basically spent weekend and friday nights doing research on mass-specific training and biophysics. I checked out Anthony Ellis's program, and its in one of those advertisement formats thats like the same thing as those PUA manual schemes, so i was knida skeptical. But, everything he advocates in his program checks out. You can easily get that sort of information for free if you know what to look for, but for noobs, i recommend his program too. I'm not going to get it cause i already know almost everything that guy does (except for things like how to tweak the ECA stack), but hes legit definitely

I just finished "The Book of Pook" it was pretty profound, inspiring stuff I must say. I plan to apply some of what I've been enlightened with having read it.

It was encouraging and hopeful, but at the same time depressing because it paints such a lofty, distant goal from where I'm sitting right now. The stuff about masculinity and sexuality was really fascinating. I wish I knew people personally like the author.

I found it to be of real logical sense rather than just tactics to manipulate someone or a situation to work toward your advantage; besides, even in the end if your desired goals are tough to meet (i.e. females) you would benefit from the byproduct gains (i.e. feelings of self-worth, gained intelligence, mental/emotional energy, etc.). Like all things, this stuff takes time and effort; not an overnight solution. Gotta keep that head up!
