What's a healthy way to put on maybe 10-15 pounds? I put "bulk" in quotation marks because I don't mean the bulk that real weightlifters do. I'm just talking about moving from a size "small" T-Shirt to a "medium" and filling out a little. Do you recommend bulking powders? You might suggest to me to eat more calories, and you're right, I probably should. But it seems like if I add on extra calories, it just goes to the stomach and doesn't give symmetric gains.

you cant "bulk" without extra calories.. and 'bulking powders' are just fats and sugars and proteins..

Unless you want to put on 10-15lbs of fat, you're going to have lift weights and add extra clean calories and lots of protein. You are talking about the bulking in the weight lifting sense, there's no other way to do what you're talking about.

Unless you are working out, all the weight you put on is fat.

I agree you can get leaner with diet only but to gain lean mass without having to workout?

Well i guess mike is right, since the body would need muscle to carry extra weight, kind of like fat people with huge calves... so yeah, MOST weight you would gain would be fat

But then again i'm talking out of my ass here :greddy:
