    holy shit thats so tight, the other day i was thinking about a system like this...how much does it cost i couldnt find any info on the site about cost? (to lazy to look b/c dont have the money to buy one anyways hehe)

    Dunno about cost... but non-heads up models for bicycles can run opwards of $200!

    I ride a zrx1100 and you would be hard pressed to find anyone who rides with me that would describe me as 'Squid-like' and I want one just because it's cool looking and serves a purpose.

    But then again I also think TRON is one of my top five movies, and that may have something to do with it too! :wavey:

    that would be more like it, since millions of riders have been riding for years without needing a gear indicator of ANY sort for their bikes. :hsugh:

    even with a stock pipe, is there anyone that cant hear the gears? my god, seems like that is impossible, but then, my helmet is pretty noisy...

    I went to the Seattle International Motorcycle Show on Friday night and SportVue was there. They had a couple demo faceshields with the HUD thing on it. I checked it out. It indicates RPM on a horizontal bar on the top of the screen, speed on the left below that, and gear to the right. It is a red LCD screen that needs to be placed "just so" on your faceshield. IMO is was pretty hard to read. It's like looking through a gun scope. If you don't do it just right you don't see anything. I'm sure if you had it set up exactly for your helmet it would be better though.
