Had hoped to capitalize on the sunset more, but this was the first time I had been downtown and actually paying attention to the sunset, and I realized it doesn't really make for too many scenic shots with out a long lens. Anyway, here's what i decided to actually do some PP on:

    tone down the vignetting.
the first and last need straightening.
    8 need more contrast.

other than that I like most of them.

Thanks, i used some lightroom presets from the net as a base for a few, but altered the levels to suit from there, i still need more experience.

I didn't even notice 1 and 8 were not straight, good eye.

7 and 9 are nice. Good catch with the bricks, maybe next time play around with some different angles on it?

I tried to fix the horizon on 1 and 10, also toned down vignetting and added some contrast to 8

I like #5, flip it though so you can actually read the sign. Not hard to do and really improves the photograph imo.

 yeah, it's strange to see this pictures and think of 'downtown' i guess :o We actually usually refer to it as 'old town' fredericksburg - but the main part of Fredericskburg isn't much more than a burb anyway :o

Oh ok, thought I had been there in the many times I've been to DC but I don't think I have. Been to several very similar places though.

Beautiful. Is this how it came out of the camera, or did you have to photoshop it?
