A&P HDR help?

Discussion in 'Lifestyle' started by coughlin's law, Feb 20, 2008.

  1. So I've been trying to do an HDR using 3 exposures... -2, 0, +2 but they aren't coming out like I would hoped. I am using a tripod, my last settings used were (day shot);

    F/8
    TV: 125
    ISO: 100
    Custom white balance

    But when I merged the images together, I got a dark/dirty kind of look to my photo... I converted to a 16 bit, and nothing...

    So here are my questions:

    1. Should I shoot -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 and combine them?

    2. Do I need to convert into an 8 bit?

    3. Any additional help...
