HDMI Capture Cards???

    Are there any that don't cost $250? Maybe like $50???? I want to record shit off my PS3 into my PC.

    $50? for hdmi capture? surely you jest.


    on further research, it looks even less feasible to do cheaply as you need to somehow get around the hdcp. a feat that does not appear to be done cheaply either. good luck though, let us know what you find.

    approx $100 just to disable HDCP. HDMI capture (and DVI, for that matter) is reserved for professional-grade equipment. Svideo, on the other hand, is easy enough and the quality is more than adequate for your youtube videos or other nonsense.

    this sucks balls, there is one that costs 250... but I'd never think there weren't other ones by now :(

    Use the composite video and get a cheap capture card that has composite video connections.
