Hdd Prection thing

    I got a new computer and from my old computer took the hdd out n put it into new computer and bought a new hdd, for the operation system, On my old hdd i can't boot of it because in new comp everything is different and my old comp doesn't work.

    Anyway, In the user i had my account and it was password protected and now when i try to go from my new computer to my profile and it get the error, access is denied.
    I need to get some important stuff fromt eh application data folder, is there any way i can reach it. Thanks

    Having a little trouble understanding what you are saying...

    Did you inastall an OS on the new drive you got and then put the old drive in as a slave to copy your data off?

    oh boy this is an easy one.

    right click folder, go to properties. Security tab. Remove all entries in the list. Add "Everyone" to the list. Give full permissions. Advanced button. Reset permissions on all child objects. Apply. Owner Tab. Click your new username. Replace on objects and subcontainers. Apply.

    You can now access your files.
