if you were in the market for a HD camcorder which one would you get?

i've been kicking around getting either one of these two now... I have about a grand to work with, so which camera would you get. The S100 is about 899 and the HF21 is like 799... if there is any others that you guys recommend please let me know. I will be using this for home movies and maybe a documentary of some kind, i have some ideas... maybe some porn ...just kidding ;)

my instincts tell me to get the s100 since it has a higher mega pixel, but the HF 21 would probably give almost the same quality from what i'm reading and has 64 GB of onboard flash memory... so i'm at a loss. I just know that once I commit to something I will then discover the best and it wont be the one I choose... so thats why im asking for help to make the best decision.

    Thanks everyone!
