    Hey y'all,
    :)ugh:)

I recently made a wallpaper with some heavy grey on black action. It was subtle but very visible. So today I'm cleaning off my desktop and notice none of the grey is visible anymore, weird.

So I play with the brightness, no dice. Calibrate it, nuhe. Go back and mess with setting trying to make the grey show, holy umbrella. So then I restart, as my wallpaper comes up, it worked! I can see everything, and it is all mis-calibrated now. Until the QS from Quicksilver shows up, and it reverts back to how it was. Perfectly calibrated but no grays.

    What up wit dat?

Edit: I also looked at wallpaper on the GF's Mac and it looked fine.

    Check the Display: Contrast Slider.

You will find it under System Preferences > Universal Access
