    currently 5'11" ~221lbs

    i was ~227lbs

I've been going to the gym and been on a diet for almost 2 months. I've only lost about 6lbs, but I can notice a difference in my size.

I only eat about 1700-1800 calories a day. I eat 5 times a day. i don't drink soda or juice, no fast food or junk food. I take fishoil, lean green, a multivitamin. I also drink a protein shake after my workout every night.

I go to the gym 6 days a week to lift (4 day splits) and do cardio. I'm getting stronger, but not losing any weight.

Any help or is this normal?

Go by the mirror, not the scale. If you just started lifting, you're probably gaining some muscle.

it takes awhile. Drink a ton of water a day. that will help.

i've been dieting for 8-10 weeks and i've only lost 8lbs MAX. it just takes forever for some of us.

usually if you don't lose weight but you're cutting BF% then that's a good thing...
