having trouble holding weights for db bent over row, what can i repalce it with?

    right now im doing db bent over rows (5x5, i do left and right seperately) with 105lbs, i dont have problems with the weight itself, i have troulbe acutally holding the weight :hs:

    is there another exercise that i can replace this with :hs:

    BB bent over rows
    pendlay rows
    yates rows
    farmers walks/crunk to improve grip

    Just use straps, you're going to have to if you want to use the weight obviously. Crunk in your spare time if you're that concerned, but don't let it hold you back from the weight you want to use.

    I do 80lb db's for bent rows so I don't think 105 is far-fetched.

    i stick to 8x4 rep scheme on db rows for some reason. i only do 5x5 on the heavier compound movements.

    do bent over rows with the barbell on the power rack.

    I dont think crunking is going to help you hold the weights any better. Crushing and supporting grips are totally different.

    Get some chalk.

    chest supported rows aren't going to help you because you still need to grip but if you want to try them just lie on an incline bench chest down.

    Try actually squeezing the dbs really hard rather than just holding them.
