I dont exactly wear the best clothes for carry (nothing baggy or loose) but thats besides the point. I always seem to print, regardless where I position the gun. :hs:

Anyone have some tips on how to keep this damn thing hidden

Actually when I place directly in the middle of my back it is less noticable but this seems like an uncommon place to carry.

actually, middle of the back is where some of my friends carry, they usually carry something like a 1911 or sig 232 though. Glocks and XD's etc are kinda wide.

all I hear is about spine damage from carrying SOB. I'm hugely fat, so it's the best place for me to carry too, but I end up carrying at my 4 o clock IWB because I'm afraid I'll hurt my back :wtc:

I have yet to hear of an injury from someone falling on their gun while wearing middle of back. The problem I see with it is that it's harder to cover should someone reach for it though. Also it is worthless if you are sitting or driving.

As for concealing, you said it yourself, you don't dress for concealment. That's not besides the point, that IS the point. If you are going to carry a gun, your wardrobe is a huge part of it. A good holster is another part. If you aren't willing to make changes in your attire to help conceal it, then you are going to print, plain and simple. I can carry my XD45 Tactical IWB but I also wear shirts that drape, are 1-2 sizes big and aren't a solid color. I also will wear a Tshirt w/overshirt or vest or a sportcoat with a tshirt. For holsters I use those that have dual clips like a CTAC/Milt Sparks VersaMax/Crossbreed/Heritage/ design because they pull the gun in closer to the body and you don't have a clip sticking out on top of the holster body. The more the holster pulls the rear of the gun in, the better.

I think a lot of it will have to do with your holster and belt. What are you carrying with? most nicer holsters help hold the gun in tighter and are then easier to conceal.

If I can conceal a fullsize USP with no problerm, you should be able to hide a G19.

As mentioned before, adjustments to your wardrobe are required. Dress around the gun.

Almost any male body type should conceal a 19 just fine. As stated previously, clothing makes all the difference.

You can wear polo shirts, button-up shirts, t-shirts, or just about any damn thing you want, and still conceal a 19. You just can't wear skin-tight clothes, and you can't tuck the outer shirt into your pants. I also carry IWB, which helps a LOT when it comes to profile.

I tried it out on the front side and I think thats going ot be the best spot for me. I guess part of it is the paranoia that people can see it when in reality I doubt anyone can
