The following are pictures of bearded dragons that a breeder is selling. There is a possibility the breeder may be modifying the pictures to make the lizards more vibrant and RED. The reason someone would do this is because a brownish lizard goes for $50, and a Red one goes for $200-300

If you're really interested why I ask, read this thread.

Dragons do change color when they stress. Give him a few days to settle.

I opened it in photoshop, the EXIF data doesn't seem to show any edits.

it's possible, but it's not enough of a shift to throw off the color balance of the image as a whole, or cause any abnormal saturation issues.

I've got a chris allen red myself and she's reaally really bright red. If you use a UV light and give them a lot of warm light, they will look like that.

I know that dragons Den Herp IS a reputable dealer. Now go over to Fire and Ice and they are notorious for A) not sending you actual pics of the dragon you are getting and B) PS the color on them. I also think that the color may be a bit altered from the lighting it is shot under, primarily if it is under a UVB lamp.

Personally though I think thee is a discrepency in the pattern starting at the base of the tail.

The descrepency I was talking about was between the one he got a pic of from the breeder that he is tolkd by the breeder IS his and the one that the buyer actually eceived. In one of the links by the poster, there are pics of the actual dragon he received and the dragon he was told he was getting

:hsugh: yeah, it can, if the person who edited it left the original EXIF info (specifically the original thumbnail image) intact. But it's not really firefox doing it.. any exif viewer could.
