So it's Sunday afternoon and the gym's kinda slow today, so I just spent the last (almost) two hours training. I hit the treadmill for 8 minutes to warm up, then did a half hour of core excercises, then hit the heavy bag (the long one for kickboxing) for about 30-40 minutes (that killed me). After hitting the bag I went back to the treadmill and ran for 10, then power walked for 8. I get paid hourly to train to fight, motha f'ing werd!!!

So of you may not know me yet so before anyone asks, no I am not a fighter, and no I'm not gonna be. I come from a strength training background (I went to prison and got healthy), but I am training to fight here because it's so damn fun. :big grin:

Here's a few pics of the spot.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I wasn't lifting though, I was over in the area with the heavy bags, and I don't wear shoes when I box. Though I did run on the treadmill barefoot. :eek3: :nono:

I wish my gym had bags. I go to one of the nicer gyms chain of gyms in the country and they dont have freakings bags... So I have a few setup in my basement. It would be so much easier if they were at the gym though.

he posted something about it before, he trains people to lift but they want him to be well-rounded and everything so they're teaching him to fight

    i think :dunno:

Muay Thai, Brazilian Jui Jitsui (Gracie-Barra), Full Contact Kickboxing (K-1 and American Kickboxing) and Traditional Boxing. Plus a little Russian Sambo and Caporeira (spelling?).
We train competative fighters in all of those disciplines and also train people that just want to learn for their personal defense ect. That along with regular fitness type stuff.

They range from $59 a month to $99 a month, depending on lenght of contract and what you're doing (i.e. what classes you're taking and what you're training for).
