Ever since middle school, I've done mostly isolated workouts. I've read on here and people have suggested to me that I should do compound workouts instead. I've devouted days to just arms and legs, however reading about it people say isolated workouts are more for "tweaking little things" & that compound workouts are the way to go. Does that mean I should just strict to do CW instead of IW? Looked on bodybuilding.com and some of them include bench press, incline press, military press, deadlifts, squats, and etc. I'm currently 5'8 & 160, and want to make some adjustments. Would like to gain more muscle mass. Just would like some insight on how I should workout.
