When I was running the other day the right side of my face kept going numb. It really freaked me out. Has this happened to anyone else while running?

Let me clarify a bit. It wasn't actually the whole right side of my face. Just my cheek.

Sometimes i feel a cramp in my right shoulder and neck muscles. Maybe you had a cramp in your neck and you felt it in your face? :dunno:

That makes sense! I was DYING for water on that run...I don't know why considering I've been drinking more water than usual.

It's really not that bad..I thought the same thing but once you get used to it, you wonder how you ever did without it. You don't have to actually hold it, it tightens around your hand so you don't have to do the work.

I don't like any of the backpack/waist pack things i've tried. They never fit right and I hate the extra bounce/weight. Some people love 'em, but I found they just make me hot and uncomfortable and tend to leave raw spots from the straps.

Good point. I get a raw spot just my my iPod armband. I could only imagine how bad it could get with something I couldn't adjust to a different spot.

I get that feeling sometimes, but I've never been able to pinpoint why I get it, nor have I spent much time trying to figure it out. I always get it in my legs or my fingers.

I used to get it a lot in my ring and pinkie fingers on my right hand when I smoked cigarettes. I haven't had it since I quit three years ago.
