If so what was your experience with it?

I've had it recommended for my lower back numerous times, it's pretty expensive so I was looking for some personal experiences on its effectiveness.

I had it done on my shoulder. I was afraid i needed surgery it hurt so bad. Went in for ART for a total of around 15 visits, and my shoulder was FINE afterwards. It hurts like a motherfucker though. I would leave the place with bruises all around my shoulder, and in my armpits :(

Works very well. Helped me heal up in time for competitions more than once. Very painful.

Jeff, it's worth it IMO. Though as you said... it can be pricey.
I had it done regularly for my elbows, shoulders and lower back issues. Unfortunately the ART practicioner I was going to moved... looking for a new one that won't cost and arm and a leg.

i go to a guy that does that with MAT (muscle activation) and its well worth it. He usually charges $150 per hour but I get it for more than half off because I'm a trainer

This guy charges 175 for first session/assessment and 70/session afterward, but when I was talking to him he said that I would most likely need 3 or so sessions a week for the first month just to get things under control. That's a shitload of money.

that sounds pretty cooky to me when they're telling you how many sessions you'll be needing right off. there's no way to know when they're going to hit the bound up tissue fucking you up and break it apart. after then youre fixed. thats a fuckload of money as well i'd keep looking around. mine were $45 an hour in orlando. if you go in there and say that something around your chest or your chest hurts its gonna sting bro

well to get your body working optimally it would seem to me thats not a lot of money. I would probably pay double that if I knew it would activate muscles that weren't working how they should.

no, although if you are referred from your Primary care doctor to an art doctor sometimes it will be covered.
