I read about it and was considering it as a "shock" to my muscles since they've sort of stopped growing lately ... anyone ever do it and see good results afterwards??

    with weights?

ive done body workouts which include 50-40-30-20-10 of alternating pushup variation and ab variations. 2 circuits if you can, plus jumprope, stretching, makes for a great workout.

    Did this today...

wide g. pullups (1min rest between sets)
    bw/8x5
    neutral g. pullups
    bw/6x5
    bw/5x20
    towel g. chins (L position)
    bw/5x5
    clapping pullups
    bw/3x5
    (TOTAL 205 reps)

Took me over 40min to do.
I still had alot in me left after. I didn't want to go near failure in any of my sets but still underestimated myself. I should have stuck with the sets of 6 on the neutral grip pullups. Beginning of next month maybe I'll aim for 250 total reps.
