If so what do you like/dislike about the MB in comparison? The new C2D looks tempting.

I went from a 12" PB to a 15.4" MBP, you want my thoughts on that? :)

    Edit: Nice AV

Sure. How is the overall performance in comparison?

Pure performance wise, there is no comparison. I had 1.25GB (I think) of RAM in the PB, while I have 2GB in the MBP. So that helps, plus the pure processor speed, it's a big jump. The screen is much bigger too (duh!).

The things that I like better about the 12" PB was the sturdy feeling it had, the very small size and great battery life.

I do not regret getting the MBP, and I don't mind sacrificing a little mobility for speed and screen.

Not likely. The different screen ratio would make a 12" pretty damn small :dunno:

I actually went from a 15" PB to a 12" because I wanted more mobility. I think the MB at 13.3" would still be very portable, but I really love the aluminum of the MBP.

I'd like to keep my PB for another year, but at that point I know it will be totally worthless whereas I can probably get $600-800 for it right now.
