I made one a few weeks ago. I used the DIY tutorial on POTN. Well worth it for lots of fun product and macro shots.

I made mine out of foam core board from Michaels and used double sided velcro to attach everything so that it folds up flat when I'm not using it.

Go to Home Depot. I got two 250W work lights for $4.99 each. If you can, get 500W lights. My lights don't provide quite enough light in the box so I have to use a flash bounced off the top of the box.

I made one this past weekend off of Strobist. It's cheesy, but does the job well... lighting is key as always. :)

i made one, but was displeased because any pictures you take with it still look amateurish in my opinion. There's no real light shaping capability.

Shit i just use a couple of oldschool shop lamps (basically a switch, clamp, and steel hood) with Reveal bulbs. works great. Went to walmart and picked up a white sheet to use as a backdrop to mask the corners, a quick custom WB shot, and snap away.
