    "What makes us happy?"

The Atlantic is like the Diet Coke version of the New Yorker, so the article is well written, but it's LONG and in-depth.

One passage I thought was quite interesting, and relevant in relationships. Note how positive relationships draw mostly on "mature" responses... whereas there seem to be many relationship questions based on "psychotic" or "immature" defense mechanisms,

“Neurotic” defenses are common in “normal” people.

lol seemed to think otherwise. Find this a lot in outgoing people more so then those who are shy and quiet. Sometimes, not always!

I think I have a lot of mature, but also a lot of immature defense mechanisms.

Skip right over the "normal" neurotic defense mechanisms... but maybe that's my repression? :ugh:
