Anyone ever get anything done at this shop? I'm going in May and would REALLY like a tattoo on the last day. From what I've read on their forum it seems like it's walk in only. Anyone know if this is true?

I was browsing the site and I really like Jime's style for what I want to get. Anyone ever get work done by him?

    Thanks for any info!

I LOVE Jime's work, always have, but would never pay what that shop charges.

What do they charge roughly an hour?

Any recommendations for other artists in Vegas that new school style (like him) and just as good but more reasonably priced?

I'm not sure on the hourly rate but I know a customer of ours went there and wanted to get a swallow roughly the size of the base of a soda can and they wanted $220US.

The shop is a huge frat boy I want my first tattoo while i'm in vegas shop.

You can't talk to the artist before you get the tattoo, you get in line, talk to the MORONIC front dest girl (i looked into getting the roman numerals "XII" on my forearm, she didn't know what roman numerals were). She then goes back to the artist and he quotes some ridiculous price, in my case i think they said 350 for something that would of taken less than an hour and no colors.

    NOT WORTH IT!

There are far better tattoo shops in Vegas than that place. Sabina Kelly's husband is a tattoo artist in Vegas, can't remember his name though.

Don't know hourly rate - But my boss went down about 2 years ago. She said she had to got there extremely early (lines form early aparently) and she got a cross type tattoo (about the size of a playing card) and it cost $250 before tip. And I believe she said the minimum tatto is $250 range since they have enough people waiting. Just like everyone else will say - not worth it. But it's your body and if you like the artist enough and think it's worth paying - then its worth it.

But just be ready to spend atleast $500+ for anything decent - An artist needs time.

Oh, and by the way, Hart & Huntington broke up, big legal battle.

Opening in March in the same location will be huntington ink, tattoo lounge. Then Corey Hart is moving Hart & Huntington tattoo to Hard Rock.

So, it might be a little different

I like his style. Anyone know anything about him? Is he nice/cool? Know his rates?

    Just sent him an email.

I want something almost 1/4 sleeve size that basically covers my deltoid. I'm a small guy-- 5'8", 145lbs. Can someone give me a rough guess on how long a full color tattoo that size would take? I know it's hard to guess, but I just need an estimate.

    unpossible to guess.

It depends on too many things. How quick the artist is, how detailed the piece is, how well your skin takes the ink, how big the piece is, how big your arm/delts are. etc...

My sleeve has taken over 20 hours so far, others i've seen get it done in less than 10.

Why is it that people just can't answer a simple question? Especially when they're trying to make money? I sent Cleen an email and I get the most basic response back with minimal details.

I sent H&H two emails before I got the slightest amount of detail from them. I just don't get it.

If they can't take the time to answer a few quick questions in email on their time, I don't see why I'd get the answers I want by interrupting them with a phone call. :dunno:

Call man. I have seen places that have email address more for formality, and they really dont have time to get to all the emails.

:werd: We're not even a huge shop but some days we get upwards of 20 emails asking for answers that are in the FAQ on our website. We don't always get a chance to answer everything.

Yep, I wouldnt go. Actually knew one of the guys that got it on the show...we called him Big B back in High School. Anyways, yep...as described in earlier posts. Wait in line, slow as hell, lazy. Sure, they are talented, but unless a camera is around, you wont get good service. Not worth it IMO.
