I am starting to scope out accessories for the 700p.

I hear that Harris is the way to go as far as bipods.

    Can WoMD confirm or deny?

  2. Unless you want to get into the really expensive special bipods, Harris is a real solid choice.

    Get the notched/swivel one.

The Atlas bipod is supposed to blow the Harris out of the water, but I haven't gotten mine yet so can't say anything about it.

I paid like $100 for mine, but got in on them a loooooooong time ago. Not sure what they are retailing for now. Think I might have heard $150-200?

I went with SLM on Tikka 308. Great bipod.

Anyone know anything about harris warranty?

One of the springs inside the legs of mine broke or came loose and I wanna make sure it's not covered before I take the thing apart.

I recently jumped on the Harris bandwagon, bought 1 bipod a while back and just shift it amongst the different rifles I have. Its worth its weight in gold.

    I've got a 6-9 on my 10/22. I don't run any hi-cap mags on it thought :dunno:

  16. The 6-9 is fine with hi-caps if you adjust the legs to about 7". I find that 9-12 bipods are too tall to shoot from comfortably.
