Thanks! I rode it all last night and I think I'm going to put louder pipes on it.

I'm also going to put a quick release windshield, saddlebags, a back seat with sissy bar (quick release) and perhaps those louder pipes.

In many ways, it actually rides better than my BMW. I'm really surprised about that.

yeah...if I can ever get off my lazy ass to take some. I'm either riding it or doing shit around the house....like now, I'm sitting on my fat ass cuz it's damn hot outside.

I'll get some pics up soon tho.

    GET OFF MY LAWN!
Went down this morning to the local shop just to browse the new models.

Alot of sweet looking bikes that at first glance I would have loved to own.
THEN I started sitting on them and that was the end of the dreaming.

I didn't find one that was comfortable. Most had that retarded air cover sticking out the right side so much that your right leg was bowed back in to reach the peddle/ floorboard.

I was heartbroken. They had this SICK bagger sitting there with a matte burnt orange that was just soooooooo sexy. smooth as silk clutch, nice gauges but riding with my leg bent like that for more than 10 minutes would have literally been painful.

edit: There was one that was nice and I could see riding for long distances with no problems and that was the Buell Ulysses XB12XT

Was drooling on one today. Still think I'm going to shoot for a Sportster.

Take your camera with you when you go riding, you probably end up someplace with nice scenery for a backdrop!

Oh, and get an oil temp dipstick for it if i doesn't already have one. Air cooling and fuel injection don't always play so well together, since the FI is set to run leaner for better emissions and fuel economy, but leaner is hotter. I know on the Sportsters, when they switched to FI, people were routinely seeing oil temps well over 210*, part of the reason I decided to look for something else, preferably with water cooling.
