Hard drive wont stay asleep for more than 10 minutes...

    The hard drive will eventually fall asleep after 15 minutes of idle. Then after 10 minutes it will start back up on its own - spin for 15 minutes - and fall asleep for another 10. This cycle just repeats itself.

    Its probably a background program, right? The only thing that's left running is AIM - I doubt thats whats causing it.

    Do you see anything in particular which doesn't belong?

    alg.exe -- seen that but only sometimes...

    wlansta.exe and jusched.exe -- what are these?

    Also... did you check your Power Options? Start, Control Panel, Power Options and make sure the Hibernation under the Hibernate tab is not checked.. if it is checked, uncheck it.. also make sure that under power schemes that your hard drive is not set to turn off after a certain amount of time....
