Hard drive not showing up after crash

    My hard drive isn't showing up now that my computer crashed. Anyone know how I can get it back? :wtc:

    does it show in BIOS????????

    Sorry, It's an internal 400GB WD SATA drive. I have some WD Data Lifegaurd Tools which don't do much. I tried getting information about it but all it does is show my old 80 GB drive.

    I'll see if I can find it in the BIOS now...

    No, but the fan is pretty loud so I could never really hear it anyway. I'll check the connections and cross my fingers. Is there anything else I could do?

    you could try a different sata port on your mobo and/or a different sata cable if you have one.

    Fuck yeah bros! I shut it down and reconnected it and it works now. Time to make backups. :hsugh: Thanks for everyone's advice!
