Camera is sitting on my desk at work. It looks just like any other 1DsIII out there.....except mine is prettier. :x:

Maybe I'll post up some shots of all my gears later.

One is none. Two is one. Three is two. Useful words to live by.

I love my 5DII for the high ISO goodness. That's the only reason I own it.

nothing really wrong with the 5dmII. I just dislike the focus system... but the iso performance is outstanding. with that being said, I can get by with the 1ds3's iso performance and have a focus system that will never let me down.

plus being completely weather sealed for me is a plus ( I will be shooting at 2 local schools for sports this year...rain or shine ) ( I know the 1ds is not a machine gun like the 1d...but I never shoot more than 4-5fps anyways )

If you're shooting sports why not get the 1D III? Do you really need a full frame 21mp sensor for sports?

I don't do just sports that's the thing. if I primarily did sports it would have been 1D all the way. I Mostly shoot landscape, weddings, some portraits, motorsports, and sports

I've been a crop guy far to long, so that's why I went the S route. plus with the wedding season coming in full swing....I decided to jump to something that I would be happy with and not let me down

I was totally set on the 5d, then 5d mark II. actually bought a 5d, but the flippin payment got lost. so with things coming through for tax returns and work bonus....... things are looking great.

:bigthumb: You're gonna love full frame! I actually had three full frame bodies but decided to try the mk III so I sold my trusty 5D. I have yet to shoot a wedding with it but I'm looking forward to *hopefully* nailing my focus a bit more and getting some additional reach with my 70-200.
