Where is a good place to start? Info and supplies...

I have plenty of automotive and home knowledge of putting electronics together, just no info on the internals of what I am putting together.

I am a comp sci major but took a few elec eng classes, so I have some knowledge about breadboards, eproms, soldering, etc.

What kind of amplifier do you want?

Also, a simple 12dB an octave active xover should be relativly easy to build.
