i've been obsessively ripping my DVD's to a hard drive for a while now.
i use Handbrake on my mac and using TVersity to stream to my XBOX and PS3. my settings in handbrake are 2500kbps (half DVD quality), MP4 container, H.264 codec.

up till now, this format streams perfectly to XBOX but on the PS3 i've gotten "unsupported data"

BUT, on Nov 26, Handbrake updated their app and now it uses VLC's DVD encoder, as far as i know. Now, files i encode using the same settings stream perfectly to both systems.

is there any way i can re-do my existing files without losing any quality?
