This shit is what will be the downfall of MMA just as it was with Boxing...That fucking decision to give Bisqueen that fight was obviously rigged from the start..but Cecil Peoples obviously didnt get the memo that Bisping was supposed to win...He was the only one to score the fight correctly...30-27 Hamill. How in the fuck..can 3 judges, sitting 2 feet apart have such different scores?...makes no sense except the fact that it seemed to be staged for Bisping to win....reminded me so much of boxing, and why I neverwatch that shit anymore..:wtc:

Dude..........no one knows. I can't see what they were judging to favor Bisping. Maybe punches thrown even if they don't land.

no i saw those to, and that was horrible...but with the sport growing at the rate it is...and you put an event like this on free tv (in which more casual fans Im sure tuned in), and a fight involving 2 guys that have name recognition in the sport now from teh TUF show, adn then a decision like this goes down? Its not good for the sport, decision reminded me of boxing...

    pathetic

fight was close 1st round was definately hamill but the other 2 were close as hell, hamill had takedowns but didn't do much with them and didn't really land much after the 1st round while on feet, very close 2nd and 3rd rounds

    add to that

    fighting in bisping's back yard
hamill playing born in usa on way to ring pissing every person in the arena off
    =
close round going to home town fighter

maybe it's not right that things are that way but who the fuck doesn't understand that if you're fighting a home town boy you better not leave the fight in the judges hands and if you do it better not be close enough to go either way

fuck hamill he's a stupid ass anyway, glad they gave bisping the fight

30-27 hamill wtf, was hamill's mamma 1 of the judges?

    1st round definately hamill

2nd round was close as hell but i think it was bisping's imo

3rd round was a fucking toss up imo and the home town guy is gonna get the benefit of a toss up round more times than not

Agreed, that decision was pathetic. Those judges are about as believable/honest as politicans.

Hamill had the fight. Bisping is a fucking jackoff. It was hilarious how he said that he definitely won it standing.

Bisping is a hometown hero, and was boo'ed after the decision :ugh: if you look at the fight without favoring one fighter or the other, Hammill kicked his ass, and was screwed...

then to follow, the hometown guy gets booed because he was clearly beat..and then he trashes Hammill...

    Bisping is a fucking joke

I don't care enough about either fighter to make a big deal out of this. I don't like the precedent it sets, though. How long will it be before fights that matter get fixed. Oh and this fight wasn't even close. Hamill completely wrecked Bisping. Round two was the only close round. Hamill dominated in round one and easily won round 3. It puts a bad taste in my mouth but I'm not going to boycott the UFC until they start obviously fixing fights that are really important. Very few people even knew who Hamill was before this fight. Bisping was already a star in England and a lot of UFC fans know who he is. If anything this fight will give Hamill a lot more exposure and will probably help his career more than if he had won. Especially after the way he handled the post fight interview compared to Bisping.

Both those fighters seem like douchebags, and although I agree the judges' decisions were rigged, I don't see why there is so much discussion regarding the outcome. :hs:

I usually don't judge whether or not a fighter is a douche by what they say before the fight. I judge them by how they act after the fight. The UFC is a lot of hype. Dana wants to find a twist to every fight that makes people think that the fighters want to kill each other. I don't even think that Hamill talks all that much shit. He just sucks at talking in general so some of the shit that comes out sounds stupid (even without his accent :mamoru:). When Bisping started talking mad shit after the fight with Hamill standing there agreeing with the judges that he won fair and square it pissed me off that much more.

I think that Franklin is the type of guy that would stand up and call bullshit if he won a decision that he knew he lost.

    True.

Look at Fischer after his clear destruction of Stout. That is what class is, Bisping displayed the complete opposite. Rampage needs to teach him how to be cocky without being a dick.

That's the only thing I could possibly think off. Bisping threw a lot of punches that didn't connect or were easily blocked.

anyone else impressed with the improvement in Hammill's hands? his boxing is still awful, but his hands were way quicker than before, and his hands didnt drop as bad, defense was better.

if he has learned to toughen up and take a hit he might be half decent.

are you matt hamill? you seem very emotional about this fight lol

he left it close enough for the judges to give to the home town guy, that's how shit goes, jesus the list of iffy decisions in fighting history is laughable why would anyone be shocked by this shit especially when 2 rounds are as close as they were.
