A&P halp please

    so I got this picture that I want to use to make a stencil to project on a wall and paint. thing is I'd like to clean it up a bit since I only want the trees in the background and not the big one in front and the black grass.

    I tried playing in photochop but I suck at it. Anyone wanna help to just make the trees more "present".
    here are the original in blue tone and the one I tried to fix in greyscale sorta..

    took about 2 mins, is that what you were looking for? and what the fuck were you doing in that grayscale to remove the tree?

    yeah, but wanted to have the tees stick out as much as possible. I don't really care if they turn out some weird color as I will be either printing on acetate or on paper then trace it and project it on the wall. but nice job on removing the tree. could you make it so the trees are darker/easier to trace?
