WEB halp - good place to register domains?

    need a good place to register domains with PAYPAL

    and one that doesnt require you to identify yourself, for gods sake

    any good ones ?:wavey:

    Why do you not want to identify yourself?? Use a proxy service to protect your identity, registering with bogus info is against most (if not all) TOSs and your domain can get yanked if someone bitches enough. It's not worth it ...

    i dont use bogus info, i just dont want the hassle of having to send info

    every registrar will ask for your personal info.

    I like godaddy for domains (though not hosting lol). Once you have your account setup it saves your registration info and keeps your paypal on record. Makes it a lot easier to check out...if you learn to quickly navigate through all the annoying upsells lol.

    of course they do, what im talking about is annoying registrars like 1and1 who ask you to fax them a copy of your ID / all that shit

    oh, well then namecheap.com might suit you. you get free private whois info when you register any domain right now.

    you definitely don't have to fax a copy of an ID to get a domain registered with 1&1. I have had a reseller account with them for a while and never had to prove my ID other than by using a credit card.

    thats if you use a credit card, but with paypal they email you asking you to fax 'em an ID

    just used domainsite for 3 domains, been super fast and no hassles :bowdown:
