I have my sides & back shaved to a 1 1/2 & leave the top long enough to style & i like doing the messy look, semi-wet look.

I've been using American Crew Fiber but it's a dull messy look..... I want something w/ a little more "wetness" to it. & I've tried EVERY American Crew gel product, so please don't suggest those.

Any suggestions on a gel to get a "SEMI-WET MESSY" look????

I'm cheap so I use the "Surf Hair" stuff I found I Target. Works great, looks messy, doesnt get hard, no flaking even if you rub it for hours on end. Good stuff.

used gel, pomade/wax/etc, after years of kinda carelessly moving from product to product, accidentaly stumbled across this stuff.

wax makes my hair greasy and matted down, gel is too wet and crunchy. this seems to be an awesome medium. i like it better than fiber, and it's only 3 bucks a bottle

dampen your hair before you put fiber in, it will give you that look.

    no way :eek5: small world

at kroger. it's not runny at all.. kinda gloopy, but not as gloopy as a typical hair gel. it's probably really similar to that garnier surf stuff.
