Since some of you have oily andor losing hair, heres some tips. Reduce how much hair styling products you put in. I personally think too many complex chemicals in your hair will kill it. Take multivitamins; multivitamins have nutrients to promote hair growth that you might not get enough in your regular diet. Let your hair naturally dry. Your hair is most vulnerable when it's wet. Pat it to get excess water out and then let it naturally dry. Dont comb when wet. Again, its vulnerable when wet. Use a shampoo thats simple, like mane and tail. Ive heard shampoos such as Pantene Pro V makes some people experience hair loss. Change shampoos every couple weeks. Stay out of direct sunlight. Try not to expose your hair to direct sunlight, wear a hat or use one of those umbrellas, parosel or something? But try to reduce your hair's exporse to sunlight. Conditioning: For everyone: Don't condition down to the roots and scalp. For short hair: You dont need to really need to, conditioning is to help people with long hair be able to comb and style really. Long Hair: Condition maybe 2 times every 2 weeks. Most people with long hair probably wash their hair every two days, thats why I say 2 times every 2 weeks. Oily Hair: Reduce how many times you wash your hair. Your body is compensating for the lost natural oil when you frequently wash your hair. Reduce how many times you wash your hair and the body will naturally start to slow down production of natural oil in your hair. Try every two days for a couple weeks and see how thats going. Extreme Hair Loss. You can tell if you have hair loss when you use your thumb, index and middle fingers and pull hair from your scalp lightly. At this point go to a doctor and get some propecia to stop hair loss, they might give you folic acid or something, this just gives your body something to build new cells with. Doesnt really work for most. Use rogaine or some other hair growth promoter, medication to stop hair loss, and reduce shampoos.
